We are very excited for Marie-Andrée Robitaille of CirkusPerspektiv to be part of the second Local Lab Residency artists, of the project Turning the Tide whose interdisciplinary work fosters community connections and addresses Stockholm’s water challenges.

Marie-Andree Robitaille is a circus choreographer, performer, and researcher who is rooted in live arts and performing arts. Through her artistic practices, she is developing methods grounded in new materialism and posthumanism, with a strong engagement in societal and ecological matters.

During this residency, she will develop her project, “Semaphore Dialogues: Signals of Change”, where she explores movement ethics and ecological change through circus collective choreography and the making of and moving with flags.
